Typography Editing- Photoshop

After deciding on the title and typography we began editing it on photoshop for the image in our trailer. 

We wanted all the letters in the word to conjoin and therefore needed to fill in the gap between the 'i' and the 't'. I zoomed in and used the brush tool  to fill in this space neatly in white. 

We noticed that most urban drama titles use a black background and mainly white text to display their title, which we decided to conform to in our trailer. 

 To add a modern element to our piece we wanted to add the recognised 3D effect to our title and the same text in red and blue individually behind original white text. 

 We played around with different effects on the title adding this such as a grainy look but after comparing different filters we decided to leave it plain white, red and blue to give it the stand out effect we desire for the title.
