Trailer Sound

Due to the limitations of not being able to use copyright sound we are planning on creating a mix of our own using a range of home-made and royalty free sounds to create the kind of music we feel appropriate for our teaser trailer. After researching extensively we have found a few websites which will be very useful in terms of creating our own music and sound for our piece. Incompitech is one of them, it provides a range of non- rights sounds throughout many genres. I think it would be interesting to explore

After endless searching through non-copyright sound which would work for us, we found two non-copyright soundtracks which were appropriate and professional sounding separately. We decided to mix the two sounds to create the backing track to our trailer.

The first is a violin instrumental with a hip hop beat in it. We decided to use this to start as right from the beginning of our drafting process we were interested in using some classical sounds to then lead into a more urban hip hop sound. I really liked the strong violin sound.

The second clip we found was this one, a urban hip hop rap song with no copyrights reserved. It has the right feel and vibe for our trailer and has an increase in pace which is what we wanted to see reflected in both the sound and the editing, so this piece would be effective in our piece.
